Did You Know ? October 1970 , Harley Rider Carl Rayborn became the fastest man on two wheels- riding a cigar shaped machine powered by a modified Sportster engine he achieved a top speed of 265.5 mph on the Bonneville Speed Flats

This is one of my earlier drawings and was completed using graphite pencil. The Birmingham Small Arns Company was founded in 1906 and was to become , after the second world war, the largest motorcycle company in the world, However, during the sixties, the Japanese machines took a large part of their sales, and by 1970's the name was dropped.
